About Kaam Paao

Kaam Paao is a referral-first job platform based in Gurugram, India. It helps people find jobs through referrals, helps referrers vouch for people they trust and build a track record for it, and tracks a referral from introduction to outcome. Kaam Paao is an early-stage platform and is being actively developed, so features may change and improve over time.

Using your account

To use most features, you create an account. When you do, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information about yourself
• Keep your login details secure and not share your account
• Be responsible for activity that happens under your account
• Be of working age and legally permitted to work

You can close your account at any time by contacting us.

Using the platform honestly

Kaam Paao is built on trust, and it only works if people use it honestly. When you use the platform, you agree not to:

• Misrepresent who you are, your experience, or your qualifications
• Refer people dishonestly, or vouch for someone you have no genuine basis to vouch for
• Post openings that are fake, misleading, or that you have no real knowledge of
• Upload anything unlawful, harmful, or that is not yours to share
• Attempt to misuse, disrupt, or gain improper access to the platform or other users’ data
• Use the platform to harass, spam, or deceive other people

We may suspend or remove accounts that break these terms, especially where trust and safety are at risk, because protecting honest users is our priority.

Referrals, and what they mean

A referral on Kaam Paao is one person vouching for another for a role. A referral is a genuine recommendation, not a guarantee. Kaam Paao provides the platform that makes referrals visible and trackable. We do not employ anyone, we are not the hiring company, and we do not control hiring decisions, which rest entirely with the employers involved. What a referrer earns on Kaam Paao is status and a track record, not a cash payment.

Your content

Anything you add, such as your profile, résumé, or an opening you post, remains yours. By adding it, you give us permission to use it as needed to run the service, for example to show your profile to referrers or to display an opening you posted. You are responsible for making sure you have the right to share what you upload, and that it is accurate.

What we provide, honestly

We work hard to make Kaam Paao useful and reliable, but as an early-stage platform we provide it on an “as is” basis. We do not promise that you will find a job, that a referral will lead to a hire, or that the service will always be uninterrupted. We do our genuine best, and we improve the platform continuously.

To the extent the law allows, Kaam Paao is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the platform. Nothing in these terms limits anything that cannot lawfully be limited.

Free to use

Kaam Paao is currently free for people looking for work and for people making referrals. We do not charge you to build a profile, get matched, refer, or get referred. If this ever changes, we will be clear and upfront about it in advance.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the platform develops. If we make a meaningful change, we will update the date above. Continuing to use Kaam Paao means you accept the current terms.
