Terms for hiring through Kaam Paao

Kaam Paao is run by Adova Enterprises Private Limited.

Three time periods matter in these terms: 12 months (a candidate first met through Kaam Paao counts if you hire them within 12 months), 30 days (the success fee is due 30 days after joining), and your replacement window (60, 90 or 120 days, depending on your plan).

1. Your first role is free. When a company joins, we give it one free role. This is a welcome offer for new companies, on any plan. It is one per company. We can say no to it, or take it back, if the account is not genuine, if the same company opens more than one account, if candidate details are misused, or if it is a test account. You can also skip the offer and buy roles any time.

2. Roles after the first one. We sell three plans. Starter is Rs 2,499 plus GST for 3 roles; a role is used when you post it. Growth is Rs 8,999 plus GST per month; you can post as many roles as you like over time, but only 30 can be open at once, and closing a role frees a slot for another. Scale is Rs 29,999 plus GST for 3 months; the same rule applies, with 50 roles open at once instead of 30. Closing, reopening or editing a role does not use another one. We send you an invoice with payment details. Starter roles are added, and a Growth or Scale plan starts, once we receive the payment. Starter roles do not expire while your account is active. If a Growth or Scale plan ends and is not renewed, roles already open stay open, but you cannot post a new role until the plan is renewed or you buy a Starter pack.

3. Success fee. If you hire someone you first met through Kaam Paao, you pay a one-time success fee:

• 6% of the person’s first-year fixed salary (CTC), or
• 8% for senior or specialised roles (we agree which roles count as senior before you post).

“First met through Kaam Paao” means the candidate was shown to you, shortlisted, messaged or referred to you on Kaam Paao, and you hire them within 12 months of that. It counts even if the final interview or offer happens outside Kaam Paao.

4. Your first hire has no fee. We do not charge the success fee for the first person your company hires through Kaam Paao, on any plan. The same conditions as in point 1 apply. From the second hire, the fee in point 3 applies.

5. When the fee is paid. The fee is due within 30 days after the candidate’s joining date. We send a GST invoice. GST is extra.

6. If the person leaves early. Your replacement window depends on your plan: 60 days on Starter, 90 days on Growth, 120 days on Scale. We count from the joining date to the last working day. If the person leaves within this window, tell us within 15 days and we give you one free replacement search for the same role. This is a new search, not a refund, and we do not charge a new success fee on the replacement hire. You get one replacement per hire.

7. Marking a hire. When you hire someone from Kaam Paao, mark them as “Hired” in your dashboard with the joining date. We may also confirm with the candidate. If you mark a hire by mistake, you can undo it within 7 days.

8. Who can use this. Only real companies hiring for real roles. We check every account by hand. We can pause or close an account that is not genuine or that misuses candidate details.

9. Candidate details. Use candidate details only to hire for the role you posted. Do not share, sell or store them for anything else.

10. Changes. If we change these terms or the prices, we will tell you at least 30 days before. Changes do not apply to roles you already posted, roles you already bought, or hires that already happened.
