chetan nagar
Senior Localization Project Coordinator
About
I’m Chetan Nagar, a Senior Localization Project Coordinator based in Udaipur, India, with 4+ years of experience in audiovisual translation (AVT), subtitling, closed captioning (CC/SDH) and multi-dialect adaptation. I run localization projects from start to finish: building timelines, assigning and managing linguists, editors and proofreaders, enforcing quality standards (CPS, timecode accuracy, style guides), and acting as the client’s main contact through delivery. I’ve coordinated work in 30+ languages for OTT platforms, studios, anime, esports, micro-drama and healthcare clients. My experience includes a year as a core coordinator on the Prime Focus Technologies account (Hotstar titles), running multiple enterprise accounts at Verbolabs, and mentoring junior coordinators into independent project ownership. I was named Star Performer of the Month at Jumio and Team Player of the Month at Verbolabs. I work in Ooona, Trados, Subtitle Edit and GTS Pro, and I speak English, Hindi and Rajasthani, with basic Korean.
Looking for
I’m looking for senior-level localization coordination work, either contracts, Freelancing or a long-term role, with OTT platforms, studios, media companies or localization agencies. I want to manage high-volume, multilingual, deadline-driven content, such as episodic series, films, anime and gaming, where my strengths in vendor management, quality control and client communication matter most. I prefer remote or global work on IST-friendly hours, or want to explore more opprtunities and I want to keep growing by leading larger accounts, handling more language pairs and mentoring teams.
