Tooling - jigs & Fixture Design

· Experience in Clamping & Locating Strategy, Define precise locating (3-2-1) principle) and structural clamping sequences to avoid heat distortion and maintain critical tolerances during robotic or manual MIG/TIG welding. · Must have experience in Performing Engineering Calculations, Perform structural calculations, finite element analysis (FEA) for stress and deflection, & clamping forces calculations. · Good Knowledge in DFM / DFA Compliance to Apply Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Assembly (DFA) principles, ensuring easy access for welding guns, ergonomic loading, and fast sensor positioning. · Deep understanding of hydraulic circuit, pressure calculations, welding processes (MIG/TIG/Spot), metallurgy, and geometric tolerancing. · Strong analytical skills to diagnose clamping failures, heat-warp patterns, or interference issues in assemblies. · Must have the Experience in Creo Parametric.
