With over five years of hands-on experience managing large-scale Cloudera CDP and Kafka environments, I bring strong expertise in distributed systems administration, production support, and enterprise data platform operations. In my current and previous roles at Wipro (client: Uber Technologies), IDC Technologies, and PRGX India, I have been responsible for administering and supporting Hadoop and Kafka ecosystems in high-availability production environments. My experience includes managing HDFS, YARN, Hive, Spark, and Kafka clusters; handling L1/L2 incidents within SLA; monitoring consumer lag and latency using Grafana and Zabbix; and performing cluster tuning, node commissioning/decommissioning, and capacity planning. I have extensive experience working with Cloudera CDP/CDH, Cloudera Manager, Ambari, and enterprise security tools such as LDAP, Ranger, and Kerberos. I have also been actively involved in access provisioning, HDFS quota management, Hive performance tuning, and automation using shell scripting and Python. My background in incident management, root cause analysis, and collaboration with cross-functional teams has enabled me to maintain stable and reliable data platforms.
