Hello, I'm Kapil Singh Bisht, a BCA student graduating in 2026, with a strong focus on cybersecurity and SOC operations. I've built hands-on experience through a personal SIEM home lab using Splunk and ELK, where I ingested logs, wrote correlation rules to detect failed logins and port scans, and practiced the Incident Response lifecycle — Identification, Containment, and Documentation. I've also done web application vulnerability assessments on DVWA and WebGoat using Burp Suite, identifying OWASP Top 10 issues like SQL Injection, XSS, and CSRF. Beyond that, I've completed over 50 Blue Team labs on TryHackMe covering log analysis, network defense, and threat hunting, and explored attacker techniques through MITRE ATT&CK on HackTheBox. I also hold certifications in SOC & SIEM, Ethical Hacking, and CCNA. I'm now looking for an entry-level SOC Analyst role where I can apply these skills to real-world threat detection.
