I am a Cyber and Technology Risk leader with over 14 years of experience helping global organisations strengthen governance, understand risk exposure and make informed business decisions. My career has evolved from identifying control gaps and supporting audits to improving enterprise risk visibility, enabling risk quantification and helping leadership prioritise cyber and technology risks. In my current role at Unilever, I work across asset risk quantification, cyber and technology risk governance, risk assessment model enablement and strategic vendor management. I collaborate with global risk, technology and business teams to strengthen risk information, improve reporting and translate complex risk scenarios into clear insights for leadership. I also support initiatives involving risk processes, technology integrations and external partners, ensuring that delivery remains aligned with business and governance objectives. What sets me apart is my ability to connect risk with business context. I look beyond whether a control exists or an assessment has been completed to understand what the exposure means, how it can be measured and where action is required. This perspective has supported my progression from assurance-focused responsibilities into a broader role centred on enterprise risk governance and decision support. My earlier experience across SOX compliance, IT controls and issue remediation gave me a strong foundation in control effectiveness, accountability and audit governance. I subsequently expanded this experience into risk transformation, executive reporting, process improvement and the implementation of enterprise-wide risk capabilities. I have also managed strategic vendor relationships, contract renewals and the alignment of commercial agreements with cybersecurity requirements. This has involved working across Risk, Cybersecurity, IT, Audit, Procurement, Legal, Finance and business teams to bring structure to complex initiatives, resolve dependencies and maintain focus on outcomes. Supported by CISSP, CISA and an MBA, I combine cybersecurity knowledge, assurance discipline and business perspective. I am now looking to bring this experience to a broader leadership role where I can shape cyber and technology risk strategy, strengthen governance and help organisations build resilience while supporting responsible growth.
