I build full-stack web applications that are fast, secure, and built to scale. I'm a B.Tech Electronics & Communication Engineering student at Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology (VNIT) Nagpur, with hands-on production experience building end-to-end web systems using React.js, TypeScript, Node.js, and PostgreSQL. My most significant technical project is Chatly — a production-grade, real-time chat platform I built from scratch (live at chatapp.ashishpatil.me). It features sub-100ms message delivery via Socket.IO, JWT-based authentication with refresh token rotation, Redis pub/sub for horizontal scaling, Supabase PostgreSQL via Prisma ORM, AWS S3 file uploads, Docker containerization, and 11 unit/integration tests written with Vitest and Supertest. It's the kind of system I'd be proud to put in front of any engineering team. Beyond the code, I've got real-world traction: as Co-Founder and Technical Lead of Nexalaya, I successfully pitched a campus digitalization initiative to institutional stakeholders at VNIT, secured a inr 60k grant, and led a team to deliver an MVP that reduced attendance processing time by 98% — from 10 minutes to 10 seconds per class.
