I'm a QA Automation Engineer with more than 3 years of experience in the Insurance and Risk Management domain, focused on building and maintaining reliable test automation frameworks for enterprise web applications. I started my automation journey with Selenium WebDriver and Java, converting manually executed test scenarios into automated scripts to improve coverage and cut down repetitive manual effort. More recently, I've been leading the shift to Playwright with TypeScript — setting up the framework from scratch, designing page objects, locators, and reusable utilities, and migrating existing Selenium/Java scripts to modern Playwright practices. My day-to-day work includes: Automating functional, regression, and end-to-end scenarios across multiple modules of an Insurance application, validating UI workflows, forms, grids, and business rules API testing and SQL-based data validation to support end-to-end test coverage Integrating and running automated tests through Jenkins and Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing Working closely with Manual QA, Developers, and Business Analysts to clarify requirements, troubleshoot automation failures, and drive down defects I enjoy the problem-solving side of automation — figuring out how to make a framework more maintainable, a test suite more stable, or a pipeline run faster.
